The Mosque of Tabataba’i has a dome erected on fifty columns which replaced the old courtyard for women on the south of the holy shrine. The founder of this high dome and majestic mosque is the late HojatuleIslam Haj Agha Muhammad Tabataba’i, the son of the late Ayatollah Haj Agha Husain Qomi. The construction of the dome lasted from the year 1360 A.H to 1370 A.H)
