A speaker at the Shrine of the Lady of Grace, noting that Lady Masouma (AS) migrated to Iran at the invitation of Imam Reza (AS), said: “Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) entered Iran from the west, and simultaneously Imam Ahmad ibn Musa (AS) entered Iran from the south. Many Sadat (descendants of the Prophet) and Imamzadehs accompanied these two great figures as they entered Iran, and it appears that one of Imam Reza’s (AS) goals was to change the geography of Iran in favor of the Shiites.” According to the news bureau of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima Masouma (peace be upon her), Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mahdi Hasanabadi, speaking at a religious gathering at the Shrine of the Lady of Grace, stated: “More should be said about Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) from the pulpit, and passing glances on this subject should be avoided, while the greatness and status of this noble lady is beyond description and comprehension.”

He considered one of Lady Masouma’s titles to be “Setti,” meaning “my lady,” and noted: “Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) also held a lofty position in terms of knowledge, and in her childhood she answered the jurisprudential questions of visitors who came to her father’s house, such that when her answers were presented to the Imam, he uttered the famous phrase, ‘May her father be sacrificed for her.'” Hasanabadi emphasized: “Our view of Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) must go beyond her being the daughter and sister of an infallible Imam, and her scholarly, jurisprudential, and spiritual status must also be explained to society.” He recalled: “The hadiths that Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) narrates have two characteristics: first, most of them are narrations concerning Wilayat (Guardianship), and second, in the chain of narration of these hadiths, all the narrators are women, known as the ‘Fawatim’ narrations.”

The speaker at the Shrine of the Lady of Grace continued: “According to the well-known account, Imam Reza (AS) wrote a letter from Marv to Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) and entrusted it to a messenger to deliver to Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) in Medina as quickly as possible, and as soon as the letter arrived, Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) set out on her journey.” He added: “Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) entered Iran from the west, and simultaneously Imam Ahmad ibn Musa (AS) entered Iran from the south and was martyred in the city of Shiraz. Many Sadat and Imamzadehs accompanied these two great figures as they entered Iran, and it appears that one of Imam Reza’s (AS) goals was to change the geography of Iran in favor of the Shiites.”

The speaker at the Shrine of the Lady of Grace said in conclusion: “Only three Imamzadehs have a narrated visitation prayer (ziyarat-nameh) from an infallible Imam, and one of these three is Lady Masouma (peace be upon her), which demonstrates the spiritual greatness of this noble lady.” He continued: “Imam Sadiq (AS), before the birth of Imam Kazim (AS), said that a daughter from my descendants will be buried in the city of Qom whose name is Fatima (AS), and through this lady’s intercession, all my Shiites will enter Paradise. For this reason, the circuit of visitation to Lady Masouma (peace be upon her) is so vast that the pilgrim is purified through the visitation.”
