According to the news bureau of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her), Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Ali Karimian, head of the Islamic Radio and Television Union, visited the caravan of the holy shrine at pillar 1080 on the Najaf–Karbala route, where he met and held talks with Dr. Hadi Mahmoudnejad, the caravan director. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of correct explanation and accurate narration of impactful events in the Islamic world. They exchanged views on the media dimensions of the martyred Leader’s funeral in Iraq, the widespread reflection of this ceremony in public opinion and the media across the region and the Islamic world, and the role of the media in conveying the unifying and resistance-inspiring message of this historic epic. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Hadi Mahmoudnejad presented a plaque of appreciation to Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Karimian in recognition of his services and efforts in the field of Islamic world media, as well as his effective role in promoting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the culture of resistance.
