According to the news of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her), Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Sa’eedi, in a meeting with the officials and organizers of the shrine’s caravan in Iraq, referred to the statements of Imam Reza (AS) addressed to Ibn Shabib and elaborated on the three stages of solidarity with the companions of Imam Husayn (AS), identifying them as the stages of the heart, the tongue, and action.
Ayatollah Sa’eedi emphasized: “The first step is heartfelt belief and unwavering conviction in the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), just as the enmity of the enemies is rooted in the depths of their souls.”
Recalling the event of Karbala, he pointed to Imam Husayn’s (AS) efforts to awaken the enemy army, adding: “The Imam (AS) donned the turban and cloak of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and held the Quran in his hands to remind the enemies of his identity, lest they unknowingly shed the blood of God’s proof. But the enemies responded that they were fighting him out of ‘hatred for Ali (AS).'”
He further described verbal expression—”Ya laytani kuntu ma’ahum” (Would that I had been with them)—as the second stage, stating: “This utterance must stem from sincerity. Then the third stage—action—is realized.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Masouma (AS), referring to the magnificent holding of the Arbaeen ceremony at the shrine’s caravan, regarded this movement as a practical symbol of solidarity with Imam Husayn (AS). He expressed appreciation for the sincere efforts of the servants, including the implementation of diverse programs, revolutionary slogans, and the display of a replica of the holy shrine in Iraq.
Ayatollah Sa’eedi described Arbaeen as “a flowing and dynamic river,” adding: “This ceremony, each year with its new features, demonstrates the life and dynamism of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).”
